Interact Club Easter visit

29/03/2017

The Interact Club Easter bunnies hopped over to Illoura Village on Tuesday to deliver the mountains of Easter eggs students had generously donated over the past fortnight.

This year, we were also able to give each resident a personalised Easter card, hand-crafted by our talented Year 7 students during their PC lesson. The visit was truly appreciated by the staff and residents of Illoura and thoroughly enjoyed by our students too.

We would like to thank all of the students and families who donated chocolate, especially Form Class 12-1 and their teacher, Mr Hubbard, who were the winners of the Form Class pizza party for the biggest donation of Easter eggs.

With so many donations of Easter eggs this year, the Interact Club was once again able to take some Easter treats to worthwhile organisations around Chinchilla. The Chinchilla Hospital, Family Support Centre, Meals on Wheels, Blue Care and Vinnies were all extremely grateful for the generosity of our school community. These donations will be given to their customers and volunteers over the holiday period and are sure to brighten Easter for numerous families around our region. Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to the success of Interact’s first fundraiser for 2017; your support is greatly appreciated.
